PRE AND POST CARE

If, following consultation, lip enhancement is considered suitable for you, we’ll provide individualised preparation instructions. Generally, we recommend avoiding alcohol, aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements such as fish oil or vitamin E for at least 24 to 48 hours prior to treatment, unless prescribed. On the day of your appointment, please arrive with clean, makeup-free lips and avoid strenuous exercise or heat exposure. You should also notify your practitioner of any recent dental work, illness, or vaccinations, as these may affect treatment timing.

After a lip enhancement procedure, you may experience some swelling, tenderness or redness at the injection sites. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. We advise avoiding touching or massaging the treated area, wearing makeup for the first 24 hours, and refraining from alcohol, heavy exercise and heat exposure. You should also avoid facials or lip treatments for one week following your appointment. Your practitioner will provide detailed aftercare based on your individual skin and treatment, and a follow-up may be offered to monitor your progress and comfort.

Generally not. Same-day treatment may only be considered for existing patients and only if your practitioner determines it is safe and clinically appropriate. A mandatory seven-day cooling-off period is required before beginning any injectable cosmetic treatment.

Absolutely. Whether you're curious about enhancing lip volume for the first time or reviewing previous results, our consultation offers a safe, pressure-free space to explore your options.

TGA oversees advertising of prescription products, and AHPRA governs healthcare professional conduct, consent processes, and education standards. Our clinic follows both closely to protect your safety and wellbeing.
