SKIN LAXITY CONCERNS CONSULTATION

Our Skin Laxity Concerns Consultation is a private, expert-led session where you can discuss changes in your skin such as a loss of firmness or structure. Conducted by an AHPRA-registered health professional, this consultation focuses on understanding your areas of concern through a detailed assessment of your facial anatomy, skin condition and medical history. From there, we create a personalised plan and recommendations tailored to your individual skin, goals and overall suitability.

PRE AND POST CARE

Should your assessment indicate that a bioremodelling injectable could help support your skin laxity goals, we’ll outline a step‑by‑step preparation plan. Generally, this includes avoiding alcohol, anti‑inflammatories (such as aspirin or ibuprofen), and supplements like fish oil or vitamin E for at least 24–48 hours prior to treatment, to reduce bruising risk. You will be advised to arrive with clean, makeup‑free skin and to avoid intense exercise, heat exposure, or sauna use on the day of the treatment. Our clinicians will also confirm your medical history and guide personalised preparation tailored to your needs.

Following a bioremodelling treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or tenderness around the injection sites. To promote healing, it is best to avoid touching or pressing the area for at least 24 hours. We advise refraining from strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure such as saunas or hot showers during this time. Makeup generally may be applied after 24 hours, unless otherwise advised. You should avoid facials or other skin treatments for at least one week. Detailed aftercare instructions will accompany your treatment, and we encourage you to reach out with any concerns during the recovery phase. Final results typically emerge over the following weeks, with a review appointment available to assess progress and next steps.
