• Weeks 1–2: After cleansing and fully drying the face, apply a pea-sized amount to the face (avoid eye area, corners of nose/lips). Use 1–2 nights per week. Follow with a moisturiser.
• Weeks 3–4: If tolerated, increase to every other night, then up to nightly as skin acclimatises. Reduce frequency if irritation occurs.
• AM care (daily): Cleanse, hydrate and apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+—retinol can increase photosensitivity.
• Avoid layering the same night with strong acids (AHA/BHA), benzoyl peroxide or vitamin C; alternate by time of day or on different nights.
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding; seek clinician advice if eczema/rosacea-prone.
